Component Bounties

Earn cash rewards by building high-priority simulation components for the Cirkit Designer ecosystem. Each bounty is awarded to the first accepted submission for that specific component that meets our quality standards.

How Bounty Submissions Work

  1. Browse active bounties on our bounty board to see which components have cash rewards
  2. Build your component using the Component Editor (apply to become a Component Builder for exclusive access)
  3. Create an example project that demonstrates your component working correctly
  4. Submit your claim by expanding the bounty dropdown and clicking "Claim" on the bounty board
  5. We review your submission and either accept, reject, or request changes via email
  6. Get paid - we'll reach out via email to confirm your preferred payment method (PayPal or Venmo) once your submission is accepted

Bounty Rules

  • One winner per bounty: Only the first accepted submission receives the reward
  • Quality standards apply: All submissions must meet our testing and documentation requirements
  • Component Builder access required: You must be an approved Component Builder to claim bounties
  • Example project required: Your submission must include a working demonstration project
  • Original work only: Components must be your own original creation

Review Process

After you submit a claim:

  1. Initial review (1-3 days): We test your component and example project
  2. Decision: We'll email you with one of three outcomes:
    • Accepted: Congratulations! We'll arrange payment via PayPal or Venmo
    • Rejected: Component doesn't meet requirements (bounty remains available)
    • 🔄 Changes requested: Specific improvements needed before acceptance
  3. Payment: Accepted bounties are paid within 5 business days
